Web Push Notifications to Windows 10 Notification Center
We have been relying on email to notify people of any Smartsheet notifications they may be receiving as our users are not in the application daily. The problem with the emails is that our company will not add anything to external to our safe sender's domain, so anything from Smartsheet comes along with a huge red banner that reads: "** WARNING: EXTERNAL SENDER. NEVER click links or open attachments without positive sender verification of purpose. DO NOT provide your user ID or password on sites or forms linked from this email. ** "
I am venturing a solution that would utilize Push API to deliver a notification to the Windows 10 notification center so our users can receive the alert outside of the application allowing us to bypass the email notifications.
Upon looking around, it seems like Microsoft Edge now supports this type of functionality, but I wouldn't know where to begin when it comes to the configuration of this feature.
If anyone has any insight or an alternative means of "outside of Smartsheet notifications," please let me know!

Hi Alex,
Here's our API documentation for notifications: https://smartsheet-platform.github.io/api-docs/#automation-rules
You can also set up rules for alerts to go to Slack or MSFT teams, if that is an option for your company.
Best,
Kara

Using Push API with Microsoft Edge seems like a great solution to try out.
