It seems to be impossible to link any own template into a sight in a way other than using online storage like e.g. Google Drive?
Am I missing something?

Hi Dietrich, could you elaborate on what you are trying to do?
What type of template are you trying to link and what do you want to do with the template in Sights?
Hi Travis, I have a template for an meeting protocol and wanted to incorporate it in a sight to make it available for the project team. It's a kind of sight where organizational links are arranged (vs. a status of a project sight).
I want to have a link in the sight that - in case of need - a projectmember clicks on, then the template opens and he can save it in a folder for meeting protocols.
My problem is that within a sight- regardless of the widget I try - it seems to not being possible to make a link to a template....
Do you have a clue how to get it into the sight?
Thanks for the clarification!
You are correct in that you cannot link to templates yet but I will submit this request to the Sights team.
You might consider using a sheet as a template. Share the sheet to your team as a viewer and tell them that to use it, they will need to make a copy of the sheet. The would essentially work the same as a template but it is shareable and it can be linked on your Sight.
Another option is to add the template to a workspace and link the workspace to your Sight.
Travis, workaround with viewing option sounds good!
Thanks
