Count number of Values Selected on a Contact list
Good morning,
I have a column which is a contact list.
My contact list is populated with users and email adresses.
I'm willing to know the number of assigned people (i.e. for a given task, how many Values Selected on a Contact list).
When I use count, it erroneously returns one (if one or more values are selected).
Is there a way to get the correct value ?
Sincerely

Hi,
Unfortunately, as far as I know, it's not possible at the moment, but it's a great idea!
Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment.
Have a fantastic week!

Is it set up to where you can put multiple contacts in one cell? If so, you could use a helper column to count how many are in each on a row by row basis and then sum that helper column.
-
Paul,
Duh! Yes! I was only thinking about the count of the column. Helpers were sleeping!

Andrée

Hahaha! Gotta love when the helpers are sleeping on the job...
-
It's a poor way around the issue.
If you got 10 persons asigned to a task, you don't want 10 rows.
-
You don't need ten rows. That row with the 10 contacts would show 10 in the helper column.
Would that work?

Andrée

I don't know what a helper is.
See enclosed. My resources are cars in this concept (they are still registered as Users in SS).
Tasks are "Events".
When I have Car1 and Car2 assigned to a task, I would like a formula to return 2 (as 2 cars are used for this task).
Thanks

Hello,
I am looking for exact same formula, is there any work around?
Thank you.
