Report against Pivot (App) sheet

Ok still trying to decide if the pivot app would be helpful. If i were able to create a pivot table using the pivot app would I then be able to pull rows from in into a report.

Or do you just create a pivot with exactly what you want to see and then insert that into a dashboard.

Thanks for your feedback. It's hard to describe/test without any access to the pivot app.

Hello Mike,

Thank you for reaching out on Community. When using Pivot, you are only able to target a sheet. So, you would then need to build a specific report for that sheet, in order to pull in the data you want to see there. You can then also use that report for your dashboard.

I guess what I'm asking is if you make a pivot table, then target the pivot table from another smartsheet report. I'll forward this question to sales/support.
