Approval Request with multiple approved or multiple declined
I have a project approval workflow performed in this way:
If it is Accepted, then if accepted as Lightweight project then save status as "Approved as Lightweight", else, save status as "Approved as Leverage";
If it is Declined, then if Declined due to lack of resource, save status as "Declined due to lack of resource", else, save status as "Declined due to others".
This workflow aims to ask approver showing the reason of his/her decision, and the reason will be listed a column for approver to choose.
Any idea to process this workflow in Smartsheet? Thanks!

Hi,
I'd probably set this up in one of two ways.
- Approval Workflow and the send an automatic Update Request right after for them to select the reason.
- Update Request where they could Approve/Decline (Checkbox or drop-down) and also select the reason.
Would any of those options work?

I recommend Andree's second suggestion. This will cut the incoming emails by half of the first suggestion.

Thanks for your recommendation, I will try to the second method to build the workflow.
By the way, I initially willing to create "Request an Approval" rule instead of "Request an Update".

A third option could be to use an Approval Request and that they add a comment.

I tried out the solution following your 2nd option, it works.
Glad to see you have the third option, it's a real Approval Request workflow which I preferred, but how it associates with adding a comment, could you tell me more?

When they answer the Approval Request, they can add a comment in the bottom of the "form," and it will show in the comment section on the specific row on the sheet.
