Auto Linking Data between sheets

I'm new to smartsheet so sorry for the newbie question. I have a change request log sheet that captures our change request approval process and I would like to "publish" and approved change to a smartsheet calendar. Is there a way to do this?

The data I'd like to publish would be a subset of the data in the change request log sheet - date and time of the change and who is implementing the change.

Hi Alain -

You could consider something like this:

• create your sheet with a modified column to capture the date something was approved (assuming that you can create an action to lock the row once it has been approved)
• create a corresponding report with the date column
• change the view to calendar view
• Double click on the entry to see the item data
• publish the report - change the default view to calendar.
