Reports Overwriting data in Sheet

I have a sheet that I use for collating data of time taken on a particular works order. To compete a works order, it requires 3 seperate workstations. However, I have set up 3 seperate reports, linked to the one sheet, for data input. The issue I have is that if two workstations both enter data at the same time, and one saves it first, the data appears on the sheet, but as soon as the second workstation saves their line item, it overwrites the info from the first workstation on the sheet, instead of putting it on a new line. Be glad of any suggestions.

Hi Brad,

You could either have three different columns for the three workstations or have three different rows per work order.

Would any of those options work?

Hi - Are they inputting new records through a report? Or a Form?

If a report - then I would suggest setting up a Form for data input. This should handle the update to a new row issue.

I agree with Debbie's solution if they are inputting new rows of information. I would create a form to have them do the data entry on. That way they will never overwrite the same row of information.
