Link to most recent output of a form

I'm new to Smartsheets and trying to use a form to collect data on one sheet and then link the most recent output of that form to another, master sheet.  However, I can only seem to link a specific cell to a specific cell and the form populates a new row each time someone submits a new response.  What is the recommended way to dynamically link to the most recent output of a form?

Hi Lee,

There are a few ways to set this up.

Here's one. Use the first row of the sheet to collect the latest submission with formulas and then cell-link that row to the master sheet.

Try something like this.

=INDEX(Column:Column; MATCH(MAX(Column:Column); Column:Column))

The same version but with the below changes for your and others convenience.

=INDEX(Column:Column, MATCH(MAX(Column:Column), Column:Column))

Depending on your country you’ll need to exchange the comma to a period and the semi-colon to a comma.

Thanks Andree, that is helpful and does exactly what I want.  However now my form is adding new data to the row after the end of the column range I am including in the function you described.  Any idea how to solve this as well?
