I have viewers that are being sent update requests for tools that are allocated to them. It would be good if they can barcode scan an item to see if its the one they are allocated to.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to use the barcode search in an update request at the moment, but it's a great idea!
Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment.
They can search the sheet with the barcode function if they have the Smartsheet App on their device.
