Is there a way to create a report from a project plan that only shows the gantt chart? I don't want any other information than a visual of the gantt chart.

Almost, you can hide all but one column that you can minimize, so it's almost not visible at all.
Would that work?
Another option could be to use a third-party integration to create a Gantt chart.
