Hi All,

I'm looking for assistance with COUNTIF if possible. I have a smartsheet containing 3 Rows of multiple flight departures.

I need to create new columns which will count the following cells for me:

Departure Flight Number

Departure Date

Flight Arrival Time

All of the cells are completed, however when using COUNTIF, I cannot get it to count. I've copied the sheet into Excel and worked for the formula as required there so unsure why I cannot get it work in SS.

Hi,

Can you paste the formula you're using?

Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@getdone.se)

Have a fantastic week!

Best,

Hello. Countif is for counting a range that matches text. For example if you want values greater then a certain number, or that matches JFK for example.

Let's say you want to count the number leaving from JFK?

=COUNTIF([Outbound Arr Airport]1:[Outbound Arr Airport]3, "JFK")

Just to count the number of rows in the column? Simple as:

=COUNT([Dep Time]1:[Dep Time]3)
