Showing Only the Parent Rows in a Dashboard Chart
Hi - I have created a dashboard to show pie charts of my data. My problem is that the pie chart wants to include every single row as a data point, I only want to show the parent rows and not the children. I used the formula "=Count(Ancestors(row))". This gives me a 0,1,or 2 based on how many ancestors the row has. But I'm having trouble making the charts do what I want. Any help? Pics below (I just want to show HR and F&A in the pie).

Hi Mitchell,
Are you referencing the main sheet? I'd recommend collecting what you need either in a so-called metric sheet or a report.
Would that work?
Have a fantastic week!

I second Andree's suggestion. I would recommend a separate Metrics sheet that contains only the data you want displayed.

Thanks both. I was able to figure that out with your help!
