Masked link in email notifications?

We use Update Requests a fair amount on our team. Sometimes in the body of the email I want to include a link to a Smartsheet Item like a Dashboard or an external item like a separate reference document.

I have not yet found a way to do this attractively - I end up having to send the big, long, ugly URL.

Thoughts?

Thanks so much for your note. The environment I'm in isn't the right place to add another layer on top of Smartsheet (I'm already using Zapier some, and do not want to get more complex than that). Thanks for the idea, though.
