Suggestions for Sights

Hi Guys,

 

Great work on Sights! I love it and it has great potential for more!

 

A couple of things:

 

1. When adding a report with Columns, the last column will maintain the full size, even if you shorten it in the report.

 

2. Add some formating options for the Titles, similar to the Rich text.

 

3. To be able to freely size the widgets, like to turn on/off the size.

 

4. To be able to delete and column title, and recover that space.

 

5. To be able to move inside the metric widgets more column information, instead of just stacking them.

 

6. Add time units to the dates.

 

I'll bring more ideas!

Thanks for your comments!

 

1. & 3. We are indeed working on an enhancement that will allow you to size widgets much more granularly than you can today, so stay tuned. We intentionally expand the last column of reports to fill the widget for a clean look, and once we release the enhanced granularity you will be able to narrow it to fit the size you desire.

 

2. We recently released additional formatting enhancements for widget titles. You can now select background color and font size for your widget titles. You can also use the other standard formatting commands. Feel free to try this out and let us know what you think.

 

4. & 5. We're currently looking into the ability to add any range of sheet data in its original grid layout.

 

6. Scheduling based on time is something that is on our backlog for consideration in a future release.
