Link Project Management Pipeline to Key Account list
We have two sheets that need to work together...
1) One Sheet is for our Customer list.
2) The other sheet/s are for projects.
Both have separate functions obviously, but need to integrate with each other. What we want to achieve is for our Sales Team who may be following up a Customer, to know of any projects that the Customer may have in the system without the manually checking multiple sheets. Our current challenge is that some of our Sales Team may be following up routine calls with a Customer from our Key Accounts list, only to find that somebody else in the team has just been speaking to the customer the day previous about a project.
Glad of any suggestions without moving away from Smartsheet entirely to a CRM.

Hello,
Datamesh would be the best way to have this information pull across. If you do not have access to Datamesh, you can use cross-sheet vlookup, however you have to be cautious of limits.

Hi,
I have a few ideas! One would be to use cross-sheet formulas to structure a solution.
Would that work?
Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@getdone.se)
Have a fantastic day!
Best,

You could also publish both sheets to the same dashboard. This would keep them separate as far as their function goes, but the data would all be displayed in one place.

Hi Jim,
Thanks for the suggestions. Can you give me any more detail on these options as it seems a bit complicated. Many thanks.

Hello Andree, I have sent you some sheet links. Many thanks.

Hello Paul, This would be introducing a third sheet for each customer (of which there could be hundreds or more). A CRM e.g. Pipedrive will obviously do most of this and would to a large degree eliminate the need for Smartsheet. The Team are keen to go down the CRM track but we have spent many months getting our processes up and running in Smartsheet and I am reluctant to walk away from all the hard work without exploring every Smartsheet option. We have the Project Management in Smartsheet running well. Many thanks.

Thanks, Terry!
I'll take a look and get back to you!
