Account ownership transfer
I may (or may not be) putting in my resignation very soon and I need to understand the best way to accomplish a complete account transfer. I am the owner of our work Smartsheet account and we have 6 licensed users. I am potentially going to a competitor so it's possible that I get escorted out. If that happens, I want to have some pre-work done, especially with Smartsheet so that I don't leave my co-workers in a bind. What's the best practice here?
Thanks...

Also, I have created a ton of sheets/reports and of course I own them all.

When a System Admin Removes someone from the org they get this dialog
I think this should do everything you want! It will switch the user removed from the Organiztion to a free account and transfer their sheets to the user specified.

Thanks!

Matt,
I don't know if this information is too late, but if not, leave this information for the next System Admin:
Under Account, select User Management.
Click on the down arrow next to the affected persons name
Starting with the "Transfer Owned Sheets to Other User" menu item, just proceed sequentially to the bottom.
When the steps are performed in order, you should be deleted and they should be protected.
One last thing you can do before you go is to make sure any API tokens in your account are revoked. Those don't transfer. They should not hurt anything once the sharing privileges are gone and the user is deleted, but I'm paranoid.
