Transfer of Sheets owned by an individual no longer with the company

Hi,

In User Management, I would like to transfer Ownership of sheets, from an individual who left the company to another user.

Will this transfer, need to be approved by the Sheet owner (who is no longer with the company?) How does this work?

If you are keeping the user active for some reason, it will request Approval for the transfer of sheets/items. If you are deleting the user, there is a Transfer Owned Items to Other User option that should not require the Approval, from my understanding.

Thank you both. However, if I Delete the User, user won't be in the User Management to transfer their Owned sheets and if I leave them in the system, then they will sent an email requesting to 'Approve' the transfer.

Please correct me, if I am missing something here?

As far as I remember, they won't be asked to approve the transfer.

You are correct. As the Plan Admin deletes a specific User, if that person is a Licensed User, the Admin will see a prompt, asking who to transfer all owned sheets to. With that, the departed person is deleted and the person indicated will see all transferred items in their HOME tab, with a title of: Transferred from JohnDoe@xyz.com
