I want to share a sheet with someone in my company.  She is unable to access the sheets after I share them with her.  Our only thought is because she has an apostrophe in her email adress.  Has anyone encountered this and is there a work around?

    Hi Tracy,

If I'm not mistaken it's not possible to use special characters in an email address so that could be the reason it's not working.

    Hope that helps!

    Have a fantastic week!

  • I think I'm having the same issue. My user has an apostrophe in their email address but also has an alias for a non-apostrophe version. I feel like the (log in with Microsoft) Entra authentication process is defaulting to use the non-apostrophe version.

I can't add the apostrophe version to the account as it says it's already in use, which I'm guessing means Smartsheet doesn't recognise the difference in the addresses. I also know for sure it's not used for another smartsheet account. This is frustrating.
