Update Form triggered by an Approval form - Need to see comments

I have an approval form where once they click on approve it triggers an update request for. I want the approver to be able to provide a pathname <project foler...> in the comments section that will be included in the update form. Is this possible? If not does that just leave adding attachments? I am trying to reduce extra steps and reduce hard drive real estate.

Speaking of which, wonder how much space SS allows? Thanks

The other does not work in any tests, because by default, the comments box that an approver has in the approval form gets written only to the sheet, you know where you click on the comments Icon? but not in a column. :-(

I just tested it quick, and it worked for me.

Take a look in the Advanced Options and select A comment and all other columns that should be included.

It was already set with 'a Comment' for both the approval flow to the approver and for the update request form. yet I only find it under that embedded SS comments. See attachments.

I triggered the update request from the comment. Try that!

I tried but...the form itself does not have 'a comment' box that I can add to the form to trigger the flow and send an approval form out. And no notifications or approvals requests go out.

Then I tried adding a trigger for 'a comment' + a condition triggered by a column, but then what happens is I get to duplicate triggers, duplicate notification, approval requests Not sure if this is so easy to follow but see shots.

Well now! I am not sure where in all my changes it happened, but I can see the 'a comments' in the update request form with settings. (needed that so PM can add a link to a file, albeit not a hyperlink). It still only triggers from a certain column. I am happy it works. Really appreciate your being available; love the SS community.
