Card view on mobile

  • Hi, I am currently assessing Smartsheet and Trello. Smartsheet has some very good features, however the lack of a Card View for mobile may prove to be a deal breaker. Is there any further updates from Smartsheet as to if or when card view might be available on mobile devices?

  • Notice my comment yesterday in this feed! This has been going on way to long, yes Smartsheet is great with many options and the card view they introduced is great, but if it's not on mobile as well it might as well not exist. I would suggest going to Trello for good card view on the web and mobile, I've been waiting a year for Smartsheet mobile at went back to Trello.

  • I was on trello but suddenly i found smartsheet and all its amazing features. Our team then dexided to move to smartsheet but thentwe found no support of card view on mobile.  IIthink we now have to go backbto trello

Please let me know if in future youyyouyadd support of card view to mobile app

  • Saw your comment as I subscribe to this thread, feel your pain, we moved back to Trello as well!

+1 kind of huge feature to be missing from mobile, where it makes the most sense .... chop chop

  • +1 This is a no-brainer.

  • This has been in the making for years now. Could you at least let us know if you are currently working on this or not?

Here too! I was going to drop Trello for my team's task management until I realized that Card View was not working on phones. People are now expecting a card system. Please add my name to the requestors for that enhancement. And as someone already asked, is there a target schedule? (Next month? Next year? Never?) Thanks!

  • Voting for mobile / app based card view.  Debating smartsheet versus Trello with my tech team, and despite Smartsheet’s great features, lack of cardview may be a deal breaker.

  • +20 potential accounts: I love Smartsheet and have been promoting it to other team managers in our company, but the lack of a mobile card view has us considering Trello instead. It would be great to get an update on if/when the card view for mobile will be available.

  • Maybe something a little more public will get you attention, per my Tweet #cardview, Smartsheet for you to give some type of a timeline for Card View, since I shouldn't have been created in the first place without mobile viewing to go along with it.

  • Update, please? Smartsheet, as an advocate for you guys for years, I'm struggling to defend the lack of mobile card view.

  • Wow. Disappointed for the lack of card view for mobile - even more disappointed how there's a two year running thread requesting an update on mobile card view functionality with no response.

I need to find an electronic kanban board with mobile functionality. Hopefully smartsheet has a solution soon. I will use Trello for now.

  • +1 Who wants to edit a spreadsheet on mobile? yuck.

Card view is a lot more in line with how I use my mobile.

Not to mention card order doesn't transfer to the grid view at all, so any priority shifting done in card view is completely invisible to mobile users. A read-only card view, although limiting, would be better than the current state.

    Hello ,

Thank you to everyone for reaching out about this feature!  At this time, Smartsheet does not support this functionality; however, I've let our Product team know about your request. Due to the large number of variables they have to consider when choosing what to develop next, we can't confirm when or if this will be built, but we have let them know.

You can always add more requests under "Submit Product Enhancement Request" under "Quick Links" to the right-hand-side of this page.

    Kind Regards,

    Alison
