Alerts, reminders, and requests

  • Create and manage manual reminders for other people
  • Create and manage manual update requests
  • Create and manage automated alerts and reminders

Does this mean that any time someone wants to be alerted about a change, etc, that only a licensed user can create them?

Our Company has hundreds and hundreds of sheets. While we have several licenses, most people come to me with questions. This means that I could be spending hours just managing alerts for people.

I love SS and so do many people in our Company, but I can't spend more time managing alerts that will cut into my managing projects.

Please tell me this is something else.

    Hi Angie,

Free users can create personal reminders, but they'll no longer have the ability to create or edit sheet level reminders, update requests, automated actions, and workflows.

If you would like to discuss the degree to which these changes impact free users accessing your plan and you haven’t already filled out our form to request that information, please do so here.

I've started being contacted that people are no longer able to send update requests.

I understand the desire to get more licensed users, but this is inconvenient for a Company with the amount of sheets we have.
