Do reports trigger alerts?

Hi all,

I am wondering if accessing a report will trigger an alert from the source sheet?

I have an alert set in my sheet that triggers based on a formula. If someone accesses a report that is based off this source sheet, will the alert still go out?

Yes, if you edit a row in a report, and the sheet that the row is from has an Automated Workflow on it that workflow will run. If you're not seeing that, maybe you can walk me through the details and we'll help get to the bottom of it.
