Hi,
I have a sheet setup for data to come in daily through a webform. What I would like to know is if there is a way for me to receive an alert if the webform has not been submitted for that day?
I have never tried this..might be a good question for support@smartsheet.com..
Hello,
I'm not aware of a way to be notified if nothing has changed (submitted) in a given day, but there are other workarounds. Two ways you could do this on the sheet where the web form submissions go:
1) Set up a notification to alert you when something changes in the sheet. Then if you don't get a notification, you'll know the form hasn't been submitted.
See how to do this: http://help.smartsheet.com/articles/542904-using-notifications
2) Or you could schedule the sheet to be sent to yourself as a .pdf or .xls on a daily basis. Then you can scan the attachment from your inbox to see if anything was added.
See how to do this: http://help.smartsheet.com/articles/504773-sending-sheets-rows-via-email
Hope this helps.
Best,
Steve B.
