Proxy owner
We currently have one license owned by a top-level manager. This manager does not have the time to create sheets for every project or every user but also does not want to transfer the license as she wants access to all the sheets created. Is there a way to have a "proxy" owner of the account? Someone who can do the administration without being the official owner? Please note that login to this SmartSheet account in through a company login, so using the license owner's login an password is not an option.

The only way to create sheets would be if you have someone else licensed as an owner. If you just want someone to edit a sheet yo could just have the primary owner create standard sheets in the workspace and anyone shared to th workspace would see the sheets to work with. Tony

Melissa,
To add to Tony's point, the manger at your company can create the sheets, and then make you an Admin on the sheet. To have more capability to modify the sheet, you would also need to be a Smartsheeet icensed user. The differences between a licensed Admin and a non-licensed Admin are spelled out at the link below.

hope this helps.
