Misbehaving Required fields in second submission of a form
Hello,
Has anyone else noticed that if you have a form that allows for multiple submissions (reload form after submission) and if you have required fields on this form, they all turn red with the required field text to them as soon as you enter anything on this form?
All you need to do is to enter the first field and tab out of it. The form then behaves like it was submitted because it triggers the validation of all the fields on the form (even though the person only entered the first field).
Why is this happening now? It started recently, maybe 2 weeks ago. How can it be fixed? My people don't like it.
Thanks,
~Anelise.

I would suggest reaching out to Support.

OK. Thank you, Paul. I'll do that.

I've been having this same issue! If possible, would you mind updating this thread with the response? No one has complained about it (yet), but I'm sure it's coming
Thanks!

Apparently this is the new expected behavior!
From Smartsheet support:
<<"I see that when tabbing out of any fields that are required on a form the field turns red. I am happy to assist you with this.
I have tested our forms for functionality and performance issues, they worked as expected. Additionally, I have also attached a screen-recording of the expected behavior, as you will notice when tabbing out of required fiends my form also highlighted those fields in red.

We'll just have to live with it.
