Cell linking - finding the next empty row on another sheet

Hi,

Looking for a way to link a cell in each new sheet to the 1st column of the next open row in a summary sheet. 

I have a template sheet and summary sheet.

I would like to create a number of sheets from the template and then display some info from the sheet in one row on the summary sheet.

It looks like this is commonly done in Excel using VB.

 

Does Smartsheet have a way to do this?
