Print and page formatting options like excel

Hello ,

Has anybody done something like page brake preview in smartsheets , specially if wee need to make pdf or printouts with of sheet with rows equivalent to 100 nos .

The problem i encountered in smart sheet is that we cannot split this over many pages on a A3 sheet.

Smartsheet tends to split the sheet vertically across and put some of the columns in next sheet , thus breaking the continuity.

And if we choose to fit all the columns in one view , it just sqeezes everything onto one page , thus making the PDF and printout not readable/legible.

 

If somenody has found a workaroung for this , then please support .

Printing in Smartsheet is more of an art than a science, and it may be difficult to get the exact look you're wanting. 

 

One trick you might try would be to export that sheet to Excel, following the steps in our Help Center: http://help.smartsheet.com/articles/770623-exporting-sheets-reports-from-smartsheet#excel

 

Excel might have more options for you to take advantage of when printing.
