Gantt Chart - Show Repeat activity every fortnight / month etc

Hi All

I am wanting to show an activity that needs to happen every week or month on a Gantt chart in one row. Any suggestions please?

Hello! At this time, Smartsheet doesn't have functionality for displaying multiple, split tasks on a single line in the Gantt chart but I'll add your vote for this to our enhancement request list for further consideration.

Just for clarrify, imagine a cleaning contract that may require the following tasks at various intervals.

Dailiy general clean

Weekly floor polish

Monthly fans cleaned

Sorry, while the tasks have the same name, they aren't the same.

They could be assigned to different people, be delayed or started early (for example because of a holiday or vacation), have different costs or dependencies, etc...

These need to be separate rows.

If you want the Gantt chart to be cleaner, have a rollup task for "floor polish" and have the tasks under them. This will show that the floor polish is an on-going / repetitive task and will be a single line item when collapsed.
