MS Teams Channel - default view?
Hi - I am trying to share a sheet on a new tab on Microsoft Teams but the sheet shows up with grid view as default and I'd like for it to be card view.
I know when in the web version where one is signed in you can set Card View as default under "Sheet Sharing" with a specific Sheet Link but this seems to be different from how Microsoft Teams connect to the sheet as a Publish User?
Thanks

Hi Terryh,
I'd recommend publishing your Smartsheet item to Microsoft Teams instead. Under the Publish Settings, set the default view to Card View.
If needed, more information on this can be found in our help article: https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/2479076-publish-smartsheet-items-to-microsoft-teams

When adding in team and publishing there is no option to select card view. Am I missing something?

What are your Publish settings in Smartsheet itself? There should be an option to select the default view from within Smartsheet:

Hi @Genevieve P.
Was able to go into the Smartsheet and see the same view in your screen shot. Although those setting are for when publishing a sheet to a link from what it looks like. In my instance I'm actually adding Smartsheet into MSFT Teams channel as a tab, where I can't see the same setting, and it always defaults to grid view when a user clicks on the tab.
Thanks for the help,
Anthony

If you're using the Publish option in Teams, then this should be taking the same Publish URL and Default that you have set up in Smartsheet; did you try adjusting the Smartsheet default and then add the published page in Teams after?

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried your recommendation for adjusting to smartsheet card view as default in smartsheet and then add/publish the page in Teams. No luck
If I open the page in smartsheet, by default it opens in Card view, however the same page opens as grid view in Teams.
