Automatically Adding Rows Based on Change in Another Sheet
I would like to be able to automatically populate rows in a sheet based on the change in status in another sheet.
For example, if I have a spreadsheet of jobs I'm bidding on that has a column with dropdown options of "Bidding", "Won", and "Lost", I would like to have a sheet that auto-populates a row in a different sheet whenever the selection changes in the first sheet from "Bidding" to "Won" so that I don't have to retype/re-enter all the info again into the current jobs sheet.
Can this be done?

Hi Horace,
Do you need to keep the information in the first sheet or would it work if the row was moved to the other sheet when it's "Won"?
If yes, the Automated Move Row feature would be an excellent solution for this use case.

Would that work?
I hope that helps!
Have a fantastic week!

To add:
If you need to copy the row to the other sheet, we could use the third-party service, Zapier, to accomplish that.
Is that an option?

Thank you for your reply. I would like to be able to do both depending on situation. In some cases, we would need to just move the row to a "lost jobs" sheet, but in some cases, when the status changes we would want to copy it to a new sheet, but not move it out of the first sheet.
I am using Zapier for a couple of other automations. Which Zap do I need to copy rows automatically?
Again, thank you for your helpful reply!

Yes, in some cases this would be needed. Would you point me to which Zap to use for this, please?
Thank you.
