The new prices have stopped FREE USERs to SEND line of a Sheet

The new policy has change the rules, Free Users are no more able to send line of a Sheet .  There are some Workspaces where you can ten or more free user who need that to share.

And 120€/users is to expansive now to do it.

I send 2 requests to Smartsheet.

but no answer.

My issue is now to find a new Solutions, or waiting !! Is there anybody of Smartsheet ALIVE

    This has been an issue for me as well. I used to have free users sending row level update requests all the time to get information on single actions, level of projects and so on.

    Hi Tristan & L,

    As a possible workaround, you could use automation to trigger the Update Request. A checkbox helper column could trigger the Update Request.

    I could do that, but I would need to add it to every single sheet, and add a comment field to personalize the messages. I have over 1000 sheets developed by dozens of key users, having to add this automation to all of them to maintain what could be done in the past is frustrating at best.

     

    In the end it is just a frustration. It isn't deal breaking, but I really don't see why they did it.

  • Thanks  Andree. I though about this solution, but it's a trick. :-) It's a workaround. 

    Smartsheet has done a change on Funcionality , with impact on Money :-(
