Calendar view in Sights?

I have a report that I use as a "Master Calendar" for vacations, major milestones, etc.  How can I put this into my Sight dashboard in "Calendar" view?  When I insert the report as a widget it only allows it to come in as "Grid" view.

Hello Armen—we don't yet have functionality for adding a Report to a Sight in Calendar view, but I'll get your vote down for this on our enhancement request list for further consideration.

I was just researching how to add this feature! I'm glad I found my answer and Its good to know that others are interested in the same thing.

Adding my vote. Ideally, it would be good to show a week or a month in a sight. I use sights for status reports and it would be helpful to show the next week's tasks due in calendar format, rather than just Gantt.

Also, is there any way we can see what features are currently being developed or being considered? I am sure there are others that I would like to add my vote too!

@SmartSheet: Is there a possible workaround with the ability to embed HTML in a Sight? 

 

In any report or sheet calendar publishing options, it provides code to embed into "any" website. 

 

Is there a way to add a HTML widget to Sights where I can copy/paste the HTML frame code?

Please add my vote also. Trying to do the same as many others. Executives don't want to look at a Gantt chart. 

Shaine, it has been about 6 months since the original post. Is there any update you can provide? Has this feature been considered for a future release? If so can you tell us if it has been accepted and any projection of when we might see this in a release.

*update* - I've just tweeted the corp account so fingers crossed we hear something!

 

*Further update* - I fudged a workaround by publishing a link to the calendar view and adding that to the sight.
