Gantt chart top level visual summary of dependicies?

Hi,

 

Is there a way when you collapse a top level item in a gantt chart to see colored shadings of the dependencies within IN that top level overall grey bar? Let them take the color from the assigned color of the dependency?

 

For instance, I have 4-6 items within an entry but I don't want to expand the entry just to see where these things overlap.

 

Is this possible?

Hi Peter—There isn't a way to display child tasks within the parent task bar, change the parent task bar, or display multiple task bars on a single line within the Gantt chart.

 

I'll get your vote down for this type of functionality on our enhancement request list for further consideration.
