Sight
Is there a way to add the date in sight without having to create a sheet?

Hi Laura..you can just use the text box to manually enter a date. I have typically put a "last modified date"

Is there a way to format it so that the date is current each time the sight is opened?

I got this reply from SmartSheet support..this should do it
Thanks for contacting us. The only way I know of to show the current date on a Sight would be to use the =TODAY() formula in a date cell on one of your sheets. Then use the Metric widget to display that cell on the Sight: https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/518558#metric. Please let me know if you have any questions about this and I'm happy to help.

The only problem with this solution is that TODAY() in the underlying sheet does not get updated unless that sheet is opened. So the Sight will only show the date that the underlying sheet was last opened/saved, not the actual date of today when the Sight is viewed.
