Welcome to the Smartsheet Community platform!

The Community is a space for our Community members, customers, partners, and users to communicate and share best practices, ask questions, discuss the future of work management, and get how-to guidance from fellow users and experts. You’ll also be able to directly help shape the future of Smartsheet products with your feedback.

We strive to ensure that this Community is a space where everyone is respected. You must review and follow the Community Guidelines below. Smartsheet reserves the right to modify, in its sole discretion, these Guidelines at any time. Your participation is subject to these Guidelines and the Smartsheet Site Terms. Please make sure you’ve read the terms that apply to your use.

Guidelines

Be respectful:  Comments, discussions, links, or pictures that promote violence against, threaten, or harass other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, gender identity, age, orientation, or abilities are not acceptable.

Don’t spam: Advertising or emailing our users directly to promote your company, website, product, or service is prohibited in the online Community, with the exception of promoting your Smartsheet related services on the Community Job Board up to once a quarter.

Don’t troll: Discussions and posts created with the intention to create a strong negative or emotional reaction, provoke conflict, or are created for ‘shock value’ are prohibited.

Don’t republish or impersonate: Syndicated content (i.e. content written by someone else or from other sources) will be removed.

Identify non-human generated content: We understand that artificial intelligence, machine learning, and other non-human intelligence driven tools (together, “AI”) can be used to help create and automate content that may be useful for Community members. To further build trust and transparency for the Community, any AI-generated content and the source of such content (if possible) must be disclosed with each post. You are responsible for the accuracy of any content, AI-generated or otherwise, that you post to the Community website. We reserve the right in our sole discretion to remove any content at any time for whatever reason.

Stay within the law: Do not break any local, state, national, or international laws and don’t post material that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others or on the privacy or publicity rights of others.

Be safe: The online Community is visible to the public—do not post personal information about yourself, your business, or another community member that you/they would not want to be made publicly available. Never provide your Smartsheet password to anyone.

Share with caution: Always know who you are sharing your data with. Smartsheet is not responsible for distribution, publication, display, or other disclosure of data and information generated by you or other community members in regards to using the Smartsheet subscription service.

Sharing sheets, reports, or dashboards with individuals outside of your organization in order to obtain product assistance is not recommended.

All posts and comments are monitored by Smartsheet employees, our moderators, to ensure that answers are accurate, helpful, and appropriate.

The official text of the Community website is English. Moderators may need to use a generally available translation service for auditing purposes or responding  to Community posts that are provided in other languages. These translations are provided as a service to users of the community.smartsheet.com website and provided “as is.” No warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, is made as to the accuracy, reliability, or correctness of any translations made from English into any other language. Some content may not be accurately translated due to the limitations of the translation service.

Moderators have the right to remove any discussion or post and ban users from the online Community who violate our Guidelines or Site Terms. If you spot a conversation that appears to go against these Guidelines, please refrain from engaging and flag it instead. A moderator will review the post and determine the appropriate action.
