Date stamping when moving between sheets

Hi, I have a task list and a list of finished tasks. I want a column that stamps the date when I moved it to the list of finished task (purpose is to get stats over finished tasks last 30 days, 360 days, etc).

Attached you can see

• Cell history when the task was moved to list of finished tasks(19.08.19).
• Created date for the task (26.09.17)
• Age of task in terms of days - This calculates how many days it is since the task was created, not when it was moved.

I cannot use "Modified", it is to vulnerable.

Hi Oystein,

Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment.

As a possible workaround, you could use the third-party service, Zapier. Is that an option for you? Another possible workaround could be to copy the rows to another sheet. Edit, wont work because you're using modified.

Would any of those methods work?

The Created Date column can be leveraged on the sheet you are moving the rows to. If you go to the target sheet, you can change the Created Date column that pulls over from the original sheet into a text/number type of column and use the target sheet's own Created Date type column.

I use something similar to track as projects move from Not Started to In Progress to Completed.

@Andrée Starå Thanks! I tested it for a completely different solution I needed. Once I realized it worked, I found a few other ways (including the above) to take advantage of it.
