Update Request Form
Hello community!
Does anyone know how can l customize the form that is sent out with an update request? I have an alert that gets triggered when a specific information gets entered (in this case, when the check box gets checked) and l need a help text or to make this a required field in order for the submitter to do so before sending it back after completing the update.... Thanks!

Happy to help!
You can't make the field required.
You can add the help text in the text (Subject, Description) that comes with the update request or in the column name so it will be above the field.
Make sense? Would that work?

Hi,
There are a few options.
- Add the help text to the column title
- Add another column with the help text
- Change the checkbox to a dropdown list where they have to select that it's complete or not
- In combination with above, you could have an update request sent until the checkbox/dropdown is complete
What do you think? Would any of those options help/work?

I have considered those options, however, l am not sure how to access that form (the update form) since it's system generated. I added a column with the "Requested Update Completed" but how do l make this field required in the actual form? How do l add a help text? Where in the sheet do l go in order to do so??

I enhanced the workaround to omit the need for Zapier. Zapier would be needed for file attachments however
