I am following every category and getting 0 notifications of new questions

What's going on? Since Smartsheet implemented the new community I am getting 0 notifications of new questions being asked in the community. I am following all of the categories but getting no email communications saying new questions are being asked. Please help!

Hi Mike ... good news. It's now possible to receive e-mail notifications about new posts.

As far as I know it's not possible at the moment to follow any categories and get notifications. It's coming!

Hi @Mike Wilday ,

Following a category allows you to use it as a filter under "Recent Discussions" but does not currently send notifications. Please see this FAQ which has more information about "Following", and this FAQ that addresses the notification question.

All "Unanswered" questions will appear in your menu on the right. Otherwise, posts under "Recent Discussions" are organized by newest content at the top.

You can bookmark an unlimited number of posts and set up notifications for activity on your bookmarked posts, but that would not notify you of entirely new content in the Community.

Thanks Genevieve. This is very helpful information. Hopefully, that option will be developed soon as it was key to my involvement in the community. I will try to jump in and pitch in when I can, but without email notifications I am not aware of the needs of the community. Having those in my email equipped me to help out more. Thanks.
