Addition of resources to Smartsheet

Greetings.

The previous system admin of our Smartsheet account has left the organisation. How do we change the system admin now ? There is a need to add more resources to our account and we are not able to do the same.

Kindly provide suggestions on what to do.

    Hello,

    For security reasons, only a SysAdmin for the account is authorized to make another user a SysAdmin. I'd suggest contacting this user and ask them to log in and make you (or someone else) a SysAdmin under User Management. 

    If you are unable to contact the current SysAdmin, then I recommend reaching out to your IT department and asking them to temporarily activate the email address. This way you can reset the password and gain access to the account to make the needed change.

    It's also possible that there's more than one SysAdmin on the account. Our Support team may be able to help you identify whether or not there's another SysAdmin on the account. If you haven't already, please reach out to our Support team for further assistance.
