Number to Text Formula

hello everyone,

i am trying to create a formula that will take a series of numbers (UPC) and convert them into a text. I am currently trying to implement the barcode scanner to a form.

ex: on the form, i will scan the product/equipment, and as i submit the form, the sheet will convert it to a text designated to that number/UPC.

is this possible?

it would also be beneficial if i could create another column to the left/right of the number that will have an equation tied to it to convert the number column to text.

any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, it's possible!

You'd use an VLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH combination of formulas.
