@mention notification email

Hi all,

When using @mention function in SmartSheet, the notification email received by the user only include the name of the sheet and the comment. The email mentions that you can add a text-only response to SmartSheet by replying to the email but if all you get is the comment, it is hard for users to know what row the comment is referring to (see attached example). We use SmartSheet to manage events our company sponsors. So ideally, the email received should include the comment but also a number of fields to give more context.

Am I missing something?

Hi Julien,

You're not missing anything! I think it's by design, and if there's a need for more context, the recipient has to open Smartsheet.

That said, it's a great idea, and it would be a great addition to Smartsheet features to have it as an option.

Was this ever enhanced? We are currently in need of something similar - choosing certain columns to be included with the automatic email that is received once a comment has been entered and are interested in this feature.
