When saving as a Template do the shared filters carry into a new sheet created from the template?

I have tried this several times but the filters I create before saving as a template do not appear in the derived sheet. The check box above leads me to believe the filters should be in the template.

Hi John,

You are correct: if that box is checked, the sheets created from the template should retain the filters that were in the original sheet, but only if these filters were edited to have the "Share Filter" option checked. 

Please review your filters to see if they are shared:

 

If they are, and yet the template does not automatically create these shared filters, please contact our Support team with full screen captures and your sheet information so they can look into this for you.
