Display (Legacy) Project Resource View in Dashboard

Is it possible to show the project resource view as a dashboard widget? I'd like the project team to have the ability to see the project resource allocation from the dashboard rather than clicking through to the sheet.

If this can't be done, any thoughts on a workaround that would display the same information?

Hi Steve,

There currently isn't a way to display Legacy resource views in a dashboard.

You could potentially embed a published link of your sheet in Gantt view to your dashboard to show the timeline, but it won't have the same information as the Legacy Resource View.

You could also create a Legacy Resource View outside of the sheet (the section under Workspaces in the left navigation menu) and then take this direct link from your browser and add it as a Shortcut widget to the dashboard. This would eliminate the multiple clicks through the sheet, but it would still be one click away from the Dashboard.

As a final option, you may also want to look into Resource Management by Smartsheet instead.
