Why does my form and corresponding worksheet NOT provide the same functionality?

I have created a form to provide my users for adding items to a sheet. One of the fields is required and is a dropdown that I have also chosen allow non-dropdown write-in values. It works fine in direct sheet access. However, the form does NOT allow non-dropdown write-in values.

Is this possible?

Hi,

Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment to have your vote added

A possible workaround could be to use an additional field to add something to if it's not available in the list.

Would that work?

As I mentioned (along with MANY others) on a previous post I found about this, your development team has completely dropped the ball on this - for over a YEAR AND A HALF. We will be looking elsewhere for a product whose support organization and provides support.

@bkw1962 I'd recommend sticking around. There are a lot of enhancements in the works. In the meanwhile, there are integration options you could use.
