How to save a formular if i export the table to an excel file?

If you add an apostrophe at the beginning of the formula (before the = sign), it will display the formula itself. Then you can export to excel, and when it imports, the apostrophe will be dropped and the formula will run.

Hi Paul.
Thank you for your replay and the trick. I understood what you mean, but probably i mixed up some terms here.
I would need to know how i can backup / save a form (not formula) which had been created to let others fill in the table according to the rules made within that form.
sorry for the wrong wording here…

I am not aware of a way to back up a form itself.
One option would be to add in a column that can be hidden later. In this column you would specify the details of the form including which fields are shown and notes regarding those fields such as dropdown vs radio buttons, required, hidden, default value, etc. You could also include notes regarding the form options such as new entries going to the top or bottom of the page, customized confirmation message, etc.
If you are not using the Sheet Summary fields, you can also use this section for your notes and it will be included in an extra tab in the Excel Workbook.

Hello Paul.
Thank you very much for your replay.
Since I am just the IT guy – i have not created those tables and forms – it would be very handy to have a one - button - click solution 😏
But i will have a look into the tables with the forms and check both of your ideas with extra columns or using the summary fields.
Nice Greetings. Markus

Hi Markus, @zooom_for_RBX
Another option could be to print(save as PDF) rows from the sheet. That will include the column headers and cells from those rows..
Make sense?
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Have a fantastic week!

Hello Andrée.
Thank you for your idea. That's not what i was searching for.
My solution right now:
Open the forms overview and open the preview of each single form. Create a screenshot, so i can simply do the same layout and use the same columns in the oncoming event.
Greetings from Markus
