Dashboard View of Report with Gantt - Not opening to "Current Date"

I have noticed that when I post a report to a dashboard in gantt view, the report will display historical dates, even though I have selected open to today's date. The function works properly if I open the report, but the display on the dashboard does not. Any ideas?

Hi Brian,

We don't currently have the functionality to have the Report open to the current date when it's displayed on a dashboard. Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment!

As an alternative, you may consider changing the When criteria of your report to only pull in rows in a certain date range.
