Live Data Connector to SAGE accounting

I was reading up on data connectors to 3rd party platforms such as Excel, Access, etc. but didn't see any information about accounting systems such as Sage or Quickbooks. Has anyone ever linked an accounting systems to Smartsheet? I am assuming it is possible, but I want to gather other's experiences if they have.

One of the simplest and most reliable ways to do it is using one of CDATA's drivers. With that you can basically connect anything to anything with whatever tooling your prefer.

I'm a big fan of CDATA because they have robust & resilient connectors.

We've connected to QuickBooks Desktop 4 different ways and connect to QuickBooks Online using the API.

It depends on your specific use case.

@NikkiOno CData provides standards-based, reliable data services. It is a technically-implemented approach to extending Sage functionality with Smartsheet. Similarly, the CData Smartsheet driver can read/write records. The Smartsheet API and Data Connector are the other technical services I recommend, while Bridge & Data Mesh may accomplish your aim without a technical lift from your team.

@NikkiOno The hour values are accessible, however QB doesn't provide an easy way to access complete payroll data without a 3rd party payroll integration or QuickBooks Time.
