Automated Copy Row Function
Good afternoon
We have a master sheet that we need to create additional sheets from based on values in a column. We will be using the automated copy row function.
How do we make sure that when one row is changed in either sheet that it changes the other sheet....so if the master sheet changes so does the added sheet and vice versa... Thank you

Instead of the Copy Row automation, you would need to use cell linking and/or cross sheet references.
Another option would be to use a report.

I don't believe that's possible. Copy row will make a new row each time your trigger fires. It doesn't maintain consistency between the sheets. Have you considered using reports instead? Reports will allow you to aggregate data to users based on filters you've designed. Instead of "copying" the rows, the report will show only the rows you want and the changes on a report will flow through to the main sheet.

So if I have a gantt sheet with 100 items and each item has 4 sub tasks and each subtask has someone that is responsible for the task am I able to make 4 reports with gantt charts so each report is its own sub task? and everytime someone makes an update on their report it feeds back to the master sheet?
Thank you

You can create as many reports as needed. Fields that are updated in a report will update the master sheet and the other way around.

Yes! You can do that. The report can be filtered on any data in the rows, and can be show any number of column from the original report and it all feeds back to the main sheet(s).
