How to include links in automation-sent email?
I have an automation set that sends a row of info when triggered. In the Attachment column is a link to a Google doc. But when the email is sent, there is no link shared. Our security team will not allow attachments of actual documents so we have to use links. Am I missing something, or can I do something different to include the row's link in the email that is sent? Thanks!

Try creating a column called "Attachment" and insert the link there.

When you say "the Attachment column", do you mean the actual row attachments with the paperclip icon, or a text/number column that contains a hyperlink?

The row attachments with the paperclip icon.

Good idea; that works. Thank you! :)

Hello @Paul Newcome,
I have tried to use this method. I created a column for my hyperlink and I used Hyperlink to create entry in the column. The link is to a SS form.
In my automation message, I correctly referenced the column.
But when I get the email, it shows the "Display Text" without the link:
Do you know why or how to correct this?
Thanks!!

@Andrea Westrich It may be because you are using specific display text. Try just using the URL.
