permissions - can I restrict someone to only be able to edit a certain field?

Hi, I'm new to Smartsheet and have a question about permissions. I would like to grant people on my project to be able to update the Status field and %Complete fields but not any other columns in my Smartsheet.

Is that possible? Thanks in advance.

Hi Michael,

Yes, but, the columns would be updatable by all that access to the sheet with the correct permissions.

Two other options would be use Update Requests. Then only the one the update request was sent to can update the specific rows that you decide.

The premium add-on, Dynamic View is the second alternative. Is that an option?
